		<description><![CDATA[It&#039;s interesting to see the way that widely available omnibus statistics have, it seems, lowered the barrier for entry into the Hall of Fame among statheads in the last few years. I remember, at least I think I remember, that the Sisler party line used to be that he was a weak Hall of Famer, overrated by the slap-hitting side of his career following his sinusitis, but given his high peak and the relative certainty of his worth compared to someone who&#039;s 100 runs up on defense he seems like a better pick than Mex, who&#039;s near the cut-off of my personal Hall.]]></description>
