Bill Ivie of I-70 Baseball has put together a Midwest Baseball Write’s Conference to be held next weekend (12 Feb) at the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame in Springfield Mo.  You may be asking, so what’s the connection to GHG?  For one, we are clearly baseball writers, so an opportunity to network and “grow the GHG brand” is always helpful.  Additionally, I’ll be giving a talk on sabermetrics (a primer of sorts, but I’m sure there will be time for more in depth discussions offline).  If you have time and are in the area it should be a good time.

  1. Work on weekends; can’t be there. I’d love a transcript of primer talk. Can you help? Thanks.
