I have to say here, Steve, that I’m not exactly sure what I’m looking at. These are where the pitches are when he swings, right? Is this the catcher’s vantage point? If so, we’re looking at a guy who’s willing to expand his zone away from him? He likes to hit the ball to right field? He’ll swing frequently down and in but hardly ever down and away? Is that right?
I’m a bit of a heat zone neophyte. Thanks for the tutorial!
Real quick, I’ll try to expand more later tonight. Yes from the catcher’s perspective. It’s results based, so the more yellow and red the better, it’s not about how frequently he swings, just the results when he does swing. The berkman chart from today does have a frequency chart in it.
